Need to know

I apologize if this in the wrong category, my phone wasn’t wanting to cooperate with the categories.

Anyways, I’m new to EM, and I believe I either have it, or something closely related to it.
Yesterday I went to the gym, ran for 20 minutes, and did some leg workouts. I havent done any workouts in quite some time, but around 5 hours later I had severe burning in my thighs, almost like my bones were on fire. As time went on it became worse, and when I would move my legs or put any pressure on them, the pain would be absolutely unbearable and put me into tears.
Unlike others though, my skin doesn’t turn red and swell, and with the other times that this has happened from working some part of my body a ton, my skin hasn’t turned red or swelled.
I’ve been in severe pain from working out a few times already which is really unfortunate because I’m trying to get in shape and tone up my body for prom.
Does this sound like EM to you guys?

Your symptoms are broad and could be anything from rhabdomyolysis to simple delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). You should make an appoint with a physician. They’ll run blood work to see what’s going on. I don’t think your symptoms sound like EM.

Exercise induced rhabdomyolysis can be a life threatening condition. If you’re experiencing confusion, vomiting, and/or dark brown colored urine, you should go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

Ssammayy,
When i went to the gym i wanted to get into shape however 10min into my run on the treadmill my face and hands were bright red and my entire body felt as though it was being pricked by needles , 10 min looked like i ran miles and i was forced to stop. I was only diagnosed about a month ago now finally after 2 years of seeing different doctors. I work at the hospital and we see a lot of guys with rhabdo so like carterdk stated you should be checked out cause this needs medical attention. How long have you been having these symptoms? I hope that your doctor can help you get to the bottom of this. Not sure that its EM because everything i have read and scene your skin burns like fire turns bright red and may even itch and feels like bee stings the severity can vary. I hope your hanging in there and make a doctor apt to get to the bottom of things keep us posted.

Stay Cool
