Acetaminophen

Lynne, my point was just to say I’m 17 only young so if it was okay for me you’ll likely be okay! As I took that for 5 years. Yep, I have met the London doc in person too, told me symptoms I had but didn’t even know was EM related… Amazing man! I went down to London as he booked me in to his clinic, done different tests and unlike most doctors was interested in what I was saying!! I’m not too sure on spelling of his name so il spell how it’s produced Professor Ahnand.

Asprin was a Godsend for me. I take 2 every 4 hours with food. Something about inhibiting prostaglandins...I avoid red meat wich kicks up the prostaglandin activity

I take 2 x 500 paracetamol (acetaminophen) at 6pm and again at around 11pm. These are the times when flares are at their peak as a rule. Does seem to help a little with the stinging pain for a little while. I am told I have primary EM - late onset I would think as I was 63 when symptoms began. Still not convinced there is no underlying cause, what with my years of smoking and hypothyroidism.

Aspirin not really an option for me as steroid meds over the years means I bruise/bleed easily enough as it is.
