I’m just wondering how you all cope with the heat in summer? Im in Australia, and it’s spring time so summer is just around the corner. My EM is very servere , and the slightest warmth puts me in so much intense pain. I end up sleeping in the lounge room in a chair with my feet up and the air conditioning on my feet, but of course nothing seems to stop my feet from burning. I know you are all probably in the same situation as me, however, secretly I’m hoping that someone has the answers. I’m still wanting to hear how you all cope with the heat . ?
After many doctors, I went to Mayo Clinic in Minneapolis for tests and diagnosis confirmation. The specialist prescribed a cream to help with pain. When applied to areas a few times a day it does help control pain. It is a compound cream with %s of amitriptyline and ketamine. It does not stop heat or swelling during flares but helps with pain. I live in Texas with extreme heat in summer and can not go out when over 78 without a flare up. Hope this helps.
