Hi,
I received my DeRoyal ice machine today! I bought it used on eBay for $40.00. Works great, pumps chilled water and circulates it through a flat pad, it is temperature controlled, so it keeps a constant temperature of about 48 degrees.
You just fill up the reservoir with ice and water, and it gives cooling for hours.
I don’t recommend putting your feet on it for that long, I have used it off and on and stored it in the frig, when not needed. I also use it on my back, so it is a win win!

That looks incredible Jon, so more spending for me! I know you said don’t use it for long but the worst time for me is when I first wake up so that could go by the side of my bed.
I am glad you found something that works. Unfortunately the image doesn't tell me anything. Could you please give a few details, like what exactly this *ice machine* is? Name, Model, Manufacturer.... things like that - would like to look it up on the Internet. Thanks
Okay for the ice machine.
My husband came home with one after his shoulder Surgery.
I never thought to use it because of the problems caused from ice water to the feet.It will actually make the feet wose than you started.
I can't take any worse.
Here is a link explaining the unit: http://www.amazon.com/DeRoyal-Cold-Therapy-Automatic-Control/dp/B009BZ4KM4?tag=duckduckgo-ipad-20
What is does is circulate ice water through a pad, it transfers the DRY cold to the area that is needed, so it will not make the feet worse. You can also put a towel between it and your feet, if it is to cold, or add more water and less ice.

Hi Jon, I hope it really works for you!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds wonderful. I am new (Lilbit61)and have heard that ice is harmly as it can cause a flare...although if my condition (EM) is a flare it has been 3 months now. I hope it helps you. I really need some friends as am going crazy sitting in chair or lying in bed all day/night ! Sending invites. HAPPY FOR YOU!
Hi,
Welcome! Yes, it is a drag to always have burning feet, I have flared for 38 years, so it is not like it can get worse, it already is… If it gives a little temporary comfort, fine with me. This is a dry cool, and can be mitigated by using a towel, so it just makes it slightly cooler. If it gets to cold, I go the other way to numb cold Raynaud’s phenomenon, then I have to heat the feel back up. Amazing thing these bodies, when they work…
I will be happily be your friend!
Good luck!
Jon
