Hard to say about the lumps. I noticed them as I started to have symptoms as I started to note many unusual things. Alot of the many symptoms I mentioned turned out to me side effects of drugs they were treating me with, that I though were charactistics of whatever the conditons I was going thru.
How are you?. Me too. i had groin lumps just before symptoms started.Do you think they have anything to do with this.Like you i put a lot of unusual symptoms down to other conditions and plethora of medication i have to take. Specialist said my lumps were abnormal lymph glands........ i presented no infection. Was in agony but they went after 6-8 weeks. Was put on antibiotics as safeguard.Did you get your lumps checked?
I like your rage issues- its the anger that keeps us going.
I was on topiramate but started affecting my eyes - careful thats nasty side effect. Went back to pregabalin.
If you want to compare and chat in members room let me know. Might help us understand our symptoms. Do they follow a pattern? Im keeping a log- maybe all over intense pricking is related to numbness of face - i dont know.!!!!!!! Has to be some logic or link to symptom pattern. Im desperate. My whole body affected including my ears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol! Dont know why im laughing - maybe i am having a breakdown at last.
Catch you later
God bless

My heart goes out to everyone. In 2005 I started having slight burning and itching in my foot. I did not see a Dr for over a year because I was a teacher and at the time was pulling doubles so I was on my feet 10 hours a day. Just thought it was related to that. I was diagnosed with diabetes and so was told it was neuropathy. Bouts of pain and intense burning came on and off for the last 6 years. Some days I taught with my feet in a bucket of cold water and just apologized to my students thinking it was from diabetes. But last June I had a nervous breakdown. I had been working 70 hours a week for over a year and in May last year my sister had a brain aneurysm. Overnight I developed the inability to walk. My feet were so red and swollen I did not walk- only crawled for 5 weeks. I saw 3 doctors who all said it was my diabetic neuropathy. Fast forward to 10 months later- still barely walking. I have gotten some improvement with walking boots and new meds. But yes my symptoms did flare up pretty much overnight and I was just diagnosed with EM recently. I am now seeing an herbalist who is confident he can help me. Only the best wishes go out to all. Namaste.
Mine came on suddenly too, remember exactly where I was when I noticed the first symptoms which was pins and needles in my big toe, within a month it was full blown flares of classic EM symptoms. I too was really active in my early 30's. I am now managing to increase my activity again but do so pushing through the flares.! I have secondary EM and sometimes get flares on my face and neck when coming into warm room from the cold, otherwise its mostly my feet and occasionally my hands.!
