While not cooling, the best shoes I have ever found for EM were easy spirit heel risers anti gravity collection sandals. It is like walking on soft but thick and supportive foam. This keeps the pressure to a minimum. Unfortunately, after a few years they added a fabric sole that ruined the squishy nature of the shoe. Then people stopped buying it and then they stopped making it altogether. I still have several pairs, although they are getting worn out. But every time someone with foot problems sees them, they demand to know where I got them. I think we should unite and demand that easy spirit start making them again, the right way.
If you see them for sale and the sole does not look like fabric or leather, but is the same as the rest if the sole, don’t hesitate, but them. I don’t know what I’d do without them.
In the summer I carry an extra pair in my bag next to frozen waterbottles, then when it gets bad I switch which pair I am wearing. 
Has anyone heard anymore about these shoes? Are they getting closer to being able to purchase them?
