Hey everyone! I’m trying to find a doctor willing to help me treat my Erythromelalgia!
I want to try out mexilitine but having a hard time finding a doctor willing to let me try it out. I’m in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas and was wondering if anyone is in the area and knows of a doctor that treats this condition!

I wish I could say I did know a doctor in your area especially since I too live in Texas. I had doctors in Houston and Dallas diagnose my Erythromelalgia but none of them knew what treatment to try. One doctor in Dallas did refer me to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota last year and if my symptoms worsen or new treatment is found, I will probably go back there. Dr Mark Davis at Mayo Clinic specializes in the disease so has lots of tests and options to try to lessen the burning pain.The heat now is unbearable and will be in Texas for at least another month or two.
