I was recently diagnosed with lupus and as I am tapering off the prednisone my hands (right more than left) keep getting bright red and getting uncomfortably hot. At night my feet will occasionally do the same. I haven’t been to my rheum since this started. Has anyone experienced this when coming iff pred and is it EM? Picture attached. I dont swell horribly and i would not say it hurts. It is just so fiery hot that when it starts it’s all I think about.
