Even though most EM pain may be a result of sodium channel malfunction, some EM pain is apparently calcium channel related.

We need all the pain blocking options we can get.

Interesiting. As you say, most EM is through sodium channel malfunction. It will have to be seen what effect this drug would have on bloodflow, as some calcium channel blockers can increase the bloodflow. That would really hurt!

Lets all keep our fingers crossed that all these drugs, including the sodium channel versions, live up to their promise.
