adidas clima cool shoes, they have tons of holes all over and you may still have to cut out the back heel padding, but they work great after you do. (there isnt much padding either). i dont wear sandals because i feel the ulcers come back if i do, shoes seem to protect them better
Thanks for the idea. Drew has been wearing water shoes made by Land's End for years. They look enough like tennis shoes so he can get by. He wears sandals in the summer for maximum coolness. We live in Oklahoma so there's not much coolness to be found May - September. I will start to look for the Adidas shoes.
