Was wondering how many people have been diagnosed with either lupus or undifferentiated tissue disease? Also does anyone have neuropathy type pain in hands and feet?
Hey Lambchop, I know you posted this a long time ago, but in case you check this--
I have been diagnosed with UCTD, and I have EM. My EM is in my face, hands, knees, and feet. I have tingling in my hands and feet all the time, but the pain only comes with an EM flare.
Thanks for the response. May I ask what UCTD you have. I’m finally feeling better but have no idea why. I’m not 100% but I can walk without pain and sleep much better. Burning down to a minimum.
So "UCTD" just stands for "undifferentiated connective tissue disease," which means I have an autoimmune connective tissue disease that hasn't turned into a named disease yet. My doctors think scleroderma and lupus are both possibilities, but all they say we can do is wait to see if it turns into something.
Do you have an autoimmune disease underlying your EM?
Yes, I've been diagnosed with Lupus - SLE, and have horrible neuropathy in both feet.
