Mexiletine not good yet

I was on Venlafaxine for almost a year. It helped the physical symptoms but made me a little goofy. So I started Mexiletine oral 150 mg twice a day. I have been on this for maybe 6 weeks. I have noticed limited improvement during the day but big time flares start about 1/2 hour after going to bed. I see the doctor next week. He mentioned increased dosage and/or infusion. We’ll see.
