Pain and tingling not restricted to during flare

Hi, was just tentatively diagnosed by a dermatologist. I also have hypogammaglobulinemia. My question is: even when I’m not having a flare, my toe pads have tingling and burning. There also have pea-sized dark red spots on the tips of my toes. Is this normal with EM? During the night it is mostly my left heel that :fire: burns. It hurts so bad where it touches the mattress.

This is during a flare, I don’t have a good pic of the spots on toes as they are on the underside/sides of toes

Sounds like neuropathy and the spots sound like chilblains

Thanks for replying. Chilbains?

Hello Teke

Appears it could be chilblains. Do the spots itch and or burn? Corticosteroid cream helps mine with the itching.

Yes they alternately itch and burn. Is that cream available over the counter or do I need a prescription?

Available over the counter. Many anti itch creams contain the 1% Corticosteroid.
