Essential Oils

Hi. I don't know if any of you have done this yet to relieve your symptoms but I thought I would share. I like using cooling essential oils to help relieve the burning pain.

Some Cooling Oils Are: Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, Lavender, Roman Chamomile

You can dilute these oils by putting them in water or a carrier oil and apply 1-2 drops on location. A little goes a long way.

You can also add 1-2 drops to a bowl of cool water and sponge over skin.

Another great idea is to add a few drops of an oil into a spray bottle with water and mist it onto feet or hands.

I did a mix the other day for my husbands sunburn -- and it greatly reduced his pain from his sunburn and felt great on my hands too.

A few Oils that may help with inflammation: Frankincense, Melaleuca, Eucalyptus, (doTERRA's Deep Blue Blend), Lavender, Peppermint -- there a lot of oils that help with inflammation.

Oils that may help with Pain: Lavender, Eucalyptus, Deep Blue

You can buy oils at a lot of natural health stores, but try to buy certified pure therapeutic grade oils ( they work the best!) . I use doTERRA's oils and really like using them and you can buy them online. I also diffuse the oils to help with anxiety, insomnia and other problems brought on by my EM. I still take my medications but sometimes -- these really help.

I hope everyone is having a good day today. :)

I find that doTERRA’s Past Tense soothes my feet when they are burning. Also, the skin on my feet gets rough and dry from the heat, but lotions make it worse because I am so sensitive. So I use AromaTouch diluted in fractionated coconut oil. That has made a huge difference.

Thank you ,just read your post ,will try some of these oils on my wife, hope they give her some relief. Thx for sharing

Thanks for sharing. I use Traumeel cream, a homeopathic oinment sold in most Health food stores, (Whole foods). It seems to have a lot of these oils in it. One of the few that don't burn. But I'll try the oils.
