Hi to all who have replied to my posts. I really like it. Everything I eat flares me up. I am fed up because I have to eat. I literary cannot eat anything, it’s crazy. I’m going crazy and don’t know what to do. It’s our summer, and tomorrow it’s going to be 40c or 104F . I burn so badly with the heat it’s hard living. I’m at my wits end.
I’ve got to go for a procedure end of month. How am I going to do this ? I’m very very extreme in my disease. Why am I kept alive???
So sorry to hear your sad story..We all have the same with different intensities… I get almost complete control of the burning with Cryo/Cuff from Amazon. The burning goes right away… d
Hi Michelle55,
Did you try Effexor ER capsules? The generic name is Venlafaxine. I take 225 mgs a day every morning. I had to start on a real low amount but the burning stopped when I got to this amount. I was burning 24/7 and in the summer even though I had air conditioning I would still burn. Then on this site I was reading about people who had discovered this drug. My doctor actually put me on it while I was having hot flashes due to menopause and it REALLY helped. So, there’s something about it that helps with heat problems. Now unfortunately, it doesn’t help everyone but I would sure give it a try. Those creams and everything else didn’t help me at all. I’m so sorry you are having it so rough. I know how you feel but don’t give up!
Hi Michelle55,
I don’t want you to think that Effexor XR took it all away but when I’m in my home you wouldn’t even know I have EM because I have my environment the way I need it which includes not having carpeting on the floors and having air conditioning. I’ve been on it for many years now and I hardly burn when I have to go somewhere. In the summer I have to go from my front door into an air conditioned car. I still can’t walk around outside but if I have to for a little bit my feet will get hot but as soon as I get home they will cool off. And before the drug it would have taken hours with my feet in cold water to cool off. Just wanted you to know.
